Who is Marc?

I’m Marc Sidwell. I’m an author and editor based in London. I’ve worked as a senior editor, publisher and a columnist at major national newspapers and magazines. I’m also a senior fellow at the New Culture Forum.

My latest project is a six-part video documentary called The West, available on the NCF YouTube channel starting Sunday 26 March 2023. The West retells the grand narrative of the Western tradition for a new online generation. It offers an inspiring but honest account of who we are, and why the West is worth defending.
